Hi, I’m sTEVIE
MA, LPC
I tap into the fundamental resiliency of my clients. I believe truth, connectedness, and authenticity inspires and empowers change. Helping others learn they are worthy, valuable, and enough is my true passion and I invite clients into a space that allows openness and self discovery.
A trauma-informed approach paired with a cheerful and curious personality, I assist clients in repairing their relationship with themselves and directing acceptance inward, which can pave the way for enduring healing and growth.
I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with addiction, anxiety, mood disorders and trauma. My background includes extensive training in CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. My versatile skillset includes helping others untangle negative thought patterns and eliciting dynamics that spur internal change. I collaborate with clients to increase emotion regulation and leverage their individual strengths so that coping skills can be most effective.
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. My previous clinical work includes individual therapy with clients between the ages of 12-65 and extensive experience in an outpatient-based treatment setting supporting adolescents and young adults and their families struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
